Dar Bensouda    history, architecture and comfort

This is a magnificent house full of history. It was the home of Sufi saint Sidi Ahmed Taudi Bensouda, who is buried in the zaouia (shrine) opposite the house. Graceful columns are topped with superbly crafted carved plaster and carved wood. Restoration has been sensitively carried out over some years by owner Abdellatif Ait Ben Abdullah, well-known for his work in Marrakech.
